Welcome!

Anyone with a desire to paint outside may join us each Saturday morning.

To get started, show up at the designated meeting point. If you see someone wearing a black hat with the PAPC logo on it, introduce yourself. There is no formal check in. Choose a location in the vicinity of our meeting point to paint, then go for it. Be mindful to clean up after yourself and dispose of your chemicals and paints responsibly (take them home). Meet back at the designated meeting point at Noon-ish for critique.

Meet Errol, Location Master

Errol Jacobson is the Location Master for the weekly PAPC paintouts. He selects sites and posts location information every week on our website.

Errol has been painting with the PAPC since 2005 and continues to crank out awesome work! Right on Errol!

Paint out - Saturday 7/11 & Sunday 7/12 - Bucktown Garden Walk

When: Saturday 7/11 and Sunday 7/12

Where: Bucktown Garden Walk...at our open air street gallery on the corner of Wabansia and Damen (in front of Silver Cloud)

Time 9:00 am....group view and critique at the street gallery @ 12:00

We will be participating in the Bucktown Garden Walk this weekend and will be painting on the street and in private gardens. Please pick up your sign at the street gallery. You can obtain a list of gardens at the main booth which is at Club Lucky, 1824 Wabansia.

Where: In and around the Palette and Chisel's neighborhood.

Time: 8:30, critique @ 12:00 in front of the Palette and Chisel

We will painting in and around the P & C this Saturday. As many of you know they will be conducting a one day event Cityscape Sale from 11 - 4 which will coincide with our painting location for that day.

Paint out - Saturday 7/25 - Bug House Square (Book fair)

Where: Bug House Square (across from the Newberry Library / Oak and Dearborn) We've been invited to paint in the park by the Palette and Chisel and the Newberry Library during the book fair this week end. Should be lots interesting people and sites to paint during the fair and the debates that take place in the park.

Time: 9:00, critique in the park @ 12:00
