PAPC EXHIBIT "FOUR SEASONS OF OLD TOWN" NOVEMBER 9 - 30, 2008

www.papchicago.com

“FOUR SEASONS OF OLD TOWN” features an exploration of the landmark Old Town Triangle neighborhood with paintings done on site from November of 2007 through October 2008 by PAPC painters. Residents have been very excited about seeing us painting in the neighborhood and we will get lots of publicity. Good sales can be anticipated (or at least hoped for!!!)

- All paintings (except those that are on wrap-around stretchers) must be framed and wired.
- Oils must be framed with wood, Watercolors can be framed with metal frames.
- All paintings must have label on the back. We also suggest you place a brief bio, resume, or contact information on the back of each entry, so the buyer can find you.

Our usual caveat, that “all paintings must have been done at PAPC paint-outs” carries one exception here:

*IF you submit one painting of this neighborhood that was done on a PAPC Saturday morning, you can submit another painting done en plein air that was executed at another time within the Old Town Triangle borders, which will make “late light and sunset paintings” possible.

The boundaries are north side of North Ave, east of Mohawk to Clark, south of Armitage, and the area on Clark St. to include the Green Market on Wednesdays and Saturdays through October. Old Towners love their market.
Do not submit paintings of south side of North Avenue or anything south of North. That is covered by another association and they don't have a working relationship with OTTA.

- Submit a maximum of 3 paintings. The Triangle Gallery is somewhat smaller than the P&C and can hold about 50 – 60 SMALL paintings.
- Painting size not to exceed 16” in its biggest dimension unframed.. When pricing your work, consider that there is a 10% commission to be paid.

Entry Fee of $20.00 will cover banner, invitation and flyer printing, some mailing, and some refreshments. MAKE CHECK OUT TO P&C, WITH PAPC - OTTA noted on the memo line.

***READ CAREFULLY - THIS PART IS DIFFERENT FROM ALL OTHER PROSPECTUSES.
We have to remove all the paintings from the walls, spackle the nail holes and touch up the paint job. If everyone makes arrangements to pick up their work and help with the de-install and final prep, it will go very fast. PAINTINGS CANNOT BE LEFT AT THE TRIANGLE, SO IF YOU CANNOT BE THERE YOU MUST MAKE ARRANGEMENTS WITH SOMEONE TO TAKE YOUR WORK.

Contact: nancy.albrecht@rcn.com with questions.

Please Do NOT call the Triangle Gallery as they have no responsibility for the show other than to host it.
